Hannah & Matty got married at the lovely Sandhole Oak Barn on a delightfully warm December day. The whole feel of the day was one of earthy, winter warmth due not only to the time of the year but also due to the tasteful colour choices that matched nature and man made fabrics so thoughtfully and linked so beautifully to the rusticity of the venue itself. Hannah was beyond stunning in her sophisticated gown and Matty was every bit the dapper groom – the perfect pair. Their gorgeous son clearly loving the day as much as his parents! The bridesmaids were also truly beautiful in their glamorous dresses and the smiles that can be seen on the faces of family and friends throughout the photographs reflect the joy that was so apparent all day. A wedding photographer’s dream day. Here are some images:

Mere Court Hotel | Ellen & James
Ellen & James got married at the romantic Mere Court Hotel this month. It was a fairytale wedding with Ellen every bit the fairytale princess in her lace, full skirted gown. The reactions of her family and bridesmaids on seeing her dressed for her big day said it all. The muted peach of the lovely bridesmaids dresses complimented the softness of the natural bouquets quite perfectly. Handsome James and radiant Ellen made an ideal couple for a wedding photographer to work with and their feelings for each other shines out of every shot. The day was perfect – from the stylish wedding car to the sweet flower girl, everything was just as it should be. It was a real honour to be part of their day.
Inglewood Manor Wedding | Emma & Mark
This August Emma and Mark got married at the superb Inglewood Manor. Emma looked resplendent in her gorgeous gown – a fitted, lace covered design with a fishtail trail. Mark was dapper in his petrol blue suit and they made a handsome pair. It wasn’t only the couple that were a wedding photographer’s dream – the venue too was perfect. Inglewoood Manor is a picturesque and romantic building and we were so lucky with the weather. The sun shone down on the happy party and so the bride was able to walk up the aisle through a delightful floral archway which was outside so the perfect venue was the backdrop for the perfect wedding. Arley Hall Wedding Photographer | Anna & Phil
Anna & Phil got married at the idyllic Arley Hall – a more perfect venue for a wedding can’t be imagined. Stately yet romantic, the majestic setting was a fitting backdrop for the wedding of a naval officer and his stunning wife. Phil and his navy pals were debonair in their uniforms while the bridesmaids looked glorious in their shimmering grey dresses. The show was utterly stolen however by the truly beautiful bride, Anna. Her fishtail gown was gorgeous indeed and Anna was the perfect bride within it. The bouquets of white and pink were delightfully in tune with the overall style of the day where even the smallest details were perfect. From the grandeur of the staircase which the bridal party descended, all the way to the serenity of the wedding chapel, every aspect of the setting was in tune with the harmony of this delightful couple. All in all – a perfect wedding.

Styal Lodge Wedding Photography | Nicola & Peter
Nicola and Peter’s wedding was a moving and romantic occasion which was such a pleasure to photograph. Nicola was an angelic vision in her fitted, lace topped gown while Peter was remarkably handsome in his charcoal grey suit. The delightful touches of gentle yellow that appeared in the bridesmaid’s dresses, the groomsmen’s ties and the bouquets added a splash of sunshine to this pleasant Autumnal day. The flowers had more than a touch of the English country garden to them with their daisy centers and this added a breezy innocence to the day. Styal Lodge was understated elegance, providing the perfect setting for this sophisticated couple. The whole day was pure sunshine. An honour to be a part of.
Mere Golf Club Wedding Photography|Mellisa & Philip
A delightfully emotional day was had by all at Melissa & Philip’s wedding at the ever stylish Mere Golf Club. Melissa was the picture of poise in her romantic, full skirted gown while Philip made a handsome and stylish groom . Hints of sage helped theme the day from the bridesmaids dresses through to the grooms cravat. A particularly unique touch to the day were the stunning bouquets of pearls that Melissa and her bridesmaids held. The ivy-fronted Mere Golf Club provided an idyllic setting to this joyful day and the gloriously imposing trees within the golf course itself provided a wonderful backdrop for some of the couple shots. This was a day to remember for all involved – a real pleasure to photograph.

Lauren and George got married at the stylish and romantic Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. The day was a delightful one indeed and I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer. Lauren looked lovely in her full length gown of lace while George was dapper in his suit of blue. The service was tranquil and moving with natural sunlight pouring into the room throughout. Outside after the service, the guests were serenaded by a flamenco guitarist which added a perfect touch to the already delightful atmosphere. All in all, a wonderful day was had by all.
